Dr. Shaikh Nausad Hossain

Director at Regional Institute of Biotechnology and Protesol Technologies Pvt Ltd.

His Ph.D. is from the University of Queensland, Australia, under the guidance of Prof. Glenn F. King and the co-guidance of Prof. Brett Collins. After his Ph.D., he moved to Okinawa, Japan, for a post-doctoral position at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) in the Trans-Membrane Trafficking Unit under Prof. Fadel Samatey. He has gained extensive experience in protein crystallography, NMR, and protein biophysics. After a brief stay at NISER, Bhubaneswar as a visiting post-doctoral fellow, Nausad moved to ILS. He was initially an institutional post-doctoral fellow, and later he got his own fellowship – CSIR-POOL Scientist @ ILS, Nausad worked on projects dealing with infectious disease structural biology. In addition to his own project, he worked on WSSV proteins and has gotten two manuscripts on the theme.

Research Coordinator

As the Research Coordinator, Aradhana is responsible for overseeing and managing day to day lab work of under-graduate and post-graduate students and research projects, ensuring efficient operations in the institute, and supporting both research scholars and students.

Outreach Program Coordinator

Mr. Sovon Acharya

Bioinformatics Faculty

After a few brief stints in Japan and Germany, Sovon is pursuing his PhD (part-time) from Amity University, Gurgaon. He joined us as a scientific advisor in the field of genomics and Bioinformatics.
